Cajun Remoulade Sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • *3 tablespoons Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard mixed with a little white wine).
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice or relish (sweet or dill)
  • 2 teaspoons paprika (smoked if possible)
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 clove garlic minced and mashed
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of sour cream (optional)
  • Red pepper, to taste

  •  *You can also use plain yellow mustard without the white wine.
  •  
  • Mix all ingredients together - taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
  • Let stand at least 2 hours in the fridge to overnight for the flavors to blend.
  • Store in a tightly covered container in the refrigerator.
