Stawberries and Whipped Cream

Whipped Cream:

1 pint Heavy Whipping Cream

1/4 cup White Sugar

1 tea Vanilla

Chill a mixing bowl and the mixing beaters in the freezer for 5 minutes.

Place the cream into the chilled bowl and whip with your mixer until the cream is frothy. Add in the sugar and vanilla then beat until soft peaks form. It's ready for serving.

*Once the Whipping Cream is ready you can fold in 1/4 cup of sour cream for a slightly tangy flavor to the cream.

Strawberries:

1 pint of Strawberries

1/4 to 1/3 cup of White Sugar - depends on how sweet you wand the berries.

Hull the strawberries by removing the green stem from the top of the berries. Wash your berries with clean water and drain. Pat your berries dry with paper towels. Place berries in a bowl and top with sugar. Coat the berries well with the sugar and set aside for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Place some of the strawberries into a dessert bowl and top with the whipped cream. Serve.
