Goat Cheese Logs or Mock Goat Cheese
Salt/Pepper, to taste
Pinch of Nutmeg or Mace
4 Slices of Bread - use a good rustic homemade or store bought bread (brown or white)
1 Small Handful of Herbs, chopped fine (fresh or dried)
4 teas. Honey
Cut goat cheese into fairly think rounds. Season cheese with salt, pepper, nutmeg and lay seasoned cheese on the bread slice. Sprinkle on herbs and drizzle with honey. Place under broiler until the cheese melts and honey caramelizes and the bread is crusty. Good served with a seasonal salad.
