1 lb frozen peas, rinsed and thawed
1 cup water
1/2 tea. salt
1/4 tea. pepper
2 table. butter
1 table. sugar
Put water and peas in a pot, place on the stove and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until tender. Drain peas and place in a bowl. Stir in the salt, pepper, sugar and butter until the butter is melted. Keep warm until ready to serve. Add in another pat of butter before serving.
